Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of the European Commerce Registers' Forum (ECRF), it is my honor to invite you to participate on the next 15th Annual ECRF Conference, which will be held from the 17th to the 19th of June 2012, in the beautiful town of Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia.
The theme of the conference will be:
"Interoperability between Business Registers – Transparency and efficient business!"
As business in Europe has become more and more integrated and national boundaries are no longer obstacles, the authorities responsible for registering business companies must increase the level of their cooperation in order to assist the businesses in their cross-border endeavors. As a responsible authorities, we, the business registries should continuously improve the global business environment, by assuring high levels of information transparency, efficient interoperability and collaboration.
We are living in a dynamic world which requires timely, accurate and relevant information and more transparency outside our respective national borders. In order to further facilitate business relations and business efficiency we believe there is a need for speed up the world-wide e-collaboration between Business Registries.
I truly hope that the next ECRF conference will continue to provide the opportunities to the participants to further exchange the information on the registry systems, their roles and responsibilities, and issues relevant to their activities, including operational and management practices and procedures, technologies used or proposed and responses to changing registration trends.
When looking at the electronic services in computer world, cloud computing is a prime subject. Respectively, regarding interoperability and e-collaboration between business registers we are talking about “BR cloud”. I hope, learning from our past experience, that we will truly find a way through the cloud and focus on the horizon, expanding our vision and achieve our shared goals.
